2024 recital policies

When and where

Sunday, June 16th at 3:00 PM
Villa Victoria Academy.
Doors to the dressing rooms will open at 2:00 PM for dancers.
Doors to the theater will open at 2:30 PM for ticket holders.

Tickets

Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 3rd at Noon.
Tickets can be purchased on this website, knechtdance.com, or using the QR code available at the studio.
Guests are invited to purchase as many tickets as they wish and are welcome to choose their own seats.
Tickets will not be available for purchase at the venue, but tickets will be available online until the show begins at 3:00 PM.
Tickets will be emailed to purchasers and can be digitally downloaded or printed out.
No ticket, no entry.
Tickets will only be emailed out once dancers' tuition is paid through June. If dancer has an outstanding balance in anyway, that balance must be paid before tickets are confirmed.

Theater etiquette

Our show runs all the way through and we pride ourselves on putting on an efficient, entertaining, and timely event. Typically our recital is finished in less than two hours.
We ask that all guests sit in their assigned seats.
No food or drink is welcome in the theater.
There will be a professional videographer filming our entire recital. Personal videography and flash photography are strictly prohibited. Our wonderful ushers will ask anyone using a cell phone to put it away.

Dancer Check in/check out

Dancers can begin arriving at 2:00 PM.
Just like dress rehearsal, all dancers must be signed in and signed out by a guardian.
All dancers will be assigned the same dressing rooms they were assigned at dress rehearsal.
We ask that dancers arrive with their hair and makeup already done. Check out our hair and makeup tutorial above.
Dancers are expected to stay for the duration of the performance. For the safety of our students and guests, no dancer will be permitted to be signed out early. All dancers participate in our finale at the end of the performance.
Our dressing rooms are filled with help, snacks, waters, movies, and games for dancers to stay busy when they are not performing.
